The MV Cézanne was built in 1993 and is refurbished annually. The ship is deluxe with 50 staterooms carrying 100 guests. Original works of art can be found throughout. All staterooms are beautifully furnished and feature a full-length window for upper-deck staterooms or three large portholes for all lower deck staterooms. Built-in wardrobes, desk, shower and toilet, telephone, audio entertainment centre, colour TV, hairdryer and terry robes are also available in each stateroom. For all 2008 cruises, smoking will only be permitted on deck.

The ship serves six meals daily (breakfast, morning bouillon, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and late supper). All meals are single seating in a non-smoking dining room with seven-course evening meals (up to nine courses on selected nights). Additionally, there is a lounge, bar, gift shop, beauty salon, library, laundry, safe deposit boxes and a qualified doctor on board. The Sun Deck has plenty of deck chairs and blankets, if needed. Captain's Welcome and Captain's Farewell Receptions are provided as well as nightly entertainment and dancing. There is one crew member for every 2.5 guests providing an excellent crew-to-guest ratio. This allows for a high level of service as well as sumptuous food, served course by course for the evening meal. English language announcements, menus and daily programmes are provided on Seine River Cruises.
